Upcycle CDs- build an eco-friendly & wallet-friendly roof!
Put in one place all those old, damaged CDs. Count them. Compare that number with the number on this page. If you haven't got enough CDs - ask a friend, or wait and be patient! If you have enough CDs start making your new roof! You can do it with your neighbours and help somebody who can't afford roof fixing.
Extra tip: beside CDs you can also use vinyl records, as shown here:
Upcycle a washing machine drum and add a new piece of furniture to your home
Before you throw away your washing machine that no longer works, take out its drum!
Here's an idea on how to use it - create an unique chair!
Extra tip: if you're going to make a cushion by yourself, you can fill it up with old fabric (shirts, underwear...)
An advanced DIY project: turn an old pallet into a swing-like bench
Here's a DIY project for those of you who are drill friendly (i.e. know how to use it). You will also need to show some carpenter's skills!
Look, admire, think it through and do it!

Extra tip: while you're thinking it through, consider these - the weight the ceiling can bear and the type of rope and hooks to use. Good luck! Post a picture if you decide to take on this project!
Upcycled detergent bottles: reuse detergent bottles and turn them into a hardware storing place for your workshop
Have you noticed how detergent bottles, detergent jugs or detergent containers are neglected in the whole recycle - upcycling story? Well, at this page we haven’t forgotten about those.
Here's a simple idea for the reuse of old detergent bottles, ideal if your hubby (or you!) like to keep a well stocked supply of nails, screws and the like.

Extra tip: The bottles can be used as hardware storage in a workshop, but you can use them for storing all sorts of thingies, although, I must say, they seem pretty "at home" in a workshop or a garage.
