Extra tip: if you're ambitious enough - create the whole flower wreath!

DIY: a t-shirt recycling project - from an old piece of fabric to a headband or a belt!
Remember all those ideas for recycling old t-shirts? We're bringing you a few more!
1. repurpose an old t-shirt into a five-strand braided headband!

2. adding a little buckle, use a four strand braid to make a unique belt.

Extra tips:
There are infinite possibilities! You can use these new techniques to make the scarf and necklace we already talked about.
This is an opportunity to learn to braid with more than three strands, if you didn’t already know how to do that. If this type of work gives you a headache, simply use the regular three strand braid for these projects!
DIY: A T-shirt recycling project - transform an old T-shirt into a cool scarf/necklace or even a pair of trousers!
Still keeping those old clothes that miraculously got too small? Let's face it- it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever wear them again. Somebody said - if you haven't worn it for 2 years, you probably never will. But, you don't have to throw it away! You can, as you’ve probably guessed, recycle & upcycle it!
We already mentioned some ideas for old jeans, and now we’ll see what can be done with old cotton T-shirts!
You can make a cool scarf like this one:

Details can be found here.
Here is a different outcome as we slowly progress to the necklace part.
Tutorial available at this site.
If we decide to make that braid thinner, we can make a necklace, as shown here!

Aaaand after all that, as true eco, recycling and upcycling friends, you’re probably wondering - what to do with leftovers!?
There is a solution! Craft some cool two-colored trousers for your juniors!

Extra tip: I think the scarf making works best with those cheap, ordinary T-shirts. And remember - there's no need to buy new T-shirts for this project. If you haven't got any, ask round among your friends!
Cool DIY bracelets made from upcycled plastic bottles
If you want to renew your jewellery collection, check out this cool&cheap idea! Nature abhors plastic bottles, so why should we keep piling them up. Reuse, recycle, upcycle!
All you need is one plastic bottle (you can make up to 5 different bracelets with just one 1.5 liter plastic bottle!), some duct tape, a piece of fabric, glue (preferably a hot glue gun), and a cutter. Be careful with that blade!

You can add some decorations such as buttons, ribbons and the like.

Portable DIY roads
Imagine what it would be like if you could take your roads with you where ever you go!
I mean toy roads of course, the ones used for toy cars and other toy vehicles. They can be made out of old fabric - jeans, T-shirts and the like. Your kids can put together their own traffic combination where ever they choose, and can even carry all those roads by themselves.
You just have to make a sketch, use some scissors and paint a dividing line.
Extra tip: Don't forget to add all sorts of curves and loops!
